Health Services

Welcome to the Los Banos Unified School District Health Services Program. Our dedicated team of school nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and health aides work to promote student health, wellbeing, and academic success.

For students managing specific health conditions like asthma, diabetes, or seizures, our nurses provide personalized support to keep conditions under control at school. We are committed to making schools a safe, healthy environment for the entire student body.

We look forward to keeping our district healthy and ready to thrive academically. Please explore our site to learn about the programs we offer and how we can best support your student's health needs.

District Nurses

School nurses are vital members of the educational team, dedicated to promoting student well-being and academic success.

They engage in risk reduction by conducting hearing and vision screenings, and they serve as coordinators of care—bridging the gap between students, families, schools, and medical providers. Providing both direct care and health education, school nurses are also a crucial resource for referrals to community services, such as obtaining glasses, immunizations, or dental services.

Their comprehensive approach ensures a healthier, safer, and more supportive learning environment for all students.
